On May 16, Beijing time, ESPN reporter Ramona Shelburne reported that Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns underwent stem-cell therapy on Friday, receiving platelet-rich plasma injections in both knees, his left wrist, left ankle, and right-hand fingers.

Dowdies injury-plagued performance helped the Timberwolves clinch a playoff spot, and he’s hoping stem-cell therapy will allow him to avoid surgery—fully recovering just in time for the start of training camp.
Towns is experiencing pain in both knees, particularly his right knee; he’s been playing in the playoffs wearing protective sleeves. Additionally, he has a cyst on his left ankle, a partial dislocation of the ligaments in his left wrist, and also faces issues with the joint in his shooting hand’s middle finger.
D'Anton's girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, posted a photo yesterday of him undergoing rehabilitation treatment.

This season, Towns is averaging 24.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, with an impressive three-point shooting percentage of 41.0%.
