Jiuzhitang showcases its stem cell innovation division at the 85th National Pharmaceutical Fair.

From September 20 to 22, the 85th National Pharmaceutical Fair (hereinafter referred to as "PharmFair") was held grandly at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Celebrating its rich 372-year history, the time-honored Chinese brand "Jiuzhitang," recognized as a "Time-Honored Brand of China" and listed in the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Catalog," showcased its comprehensive lineup at this year's PharmFair. Featuring prescription drugs, OTC products, stem-cell therapies, wellness solutions, and even its cutting-edge Internet Hospital, Jiuzhitang highlighted the company’s century-long journey and core business areas.

During the opening ceremony of this year's Pharmaceutical Fair, Liu Chunfeng, Vice President of Jiuzhitang Group, was invited to participate as an opening ceremony guest and officially cut the ribbon. and at the China Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Strategic Development Summit Forum, jointly analyzed future development trends in the TCM industry with industry peers.

In the stem cell exhibition area, detailed case studies and richly illustrated displays showcased Jiuzhitang's innovative development journey in the stem cell business, highlighted project advancements, and unveiled the limitless potential of stem cells in improving human health—capturing significant attention from fellow attendees.

As one of the innovative divisions under the Jiuzhitang Group Jiuzhitang Maker was visited by Huang Baolin, Deputy Director-General of the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. Highly attentive, Director Huang conducted a detailed inquiry at the stem cell exhibition area.

During the exhibition, the Jiuzhitang booth was bustling with visitors, as attendees continued to arrive in steady numbers. Everyone enthusiastically applauded Jiuzhitang’s cutting-edge stem-cell production processes and its impressive technological advantages.

As of now, China's first clinical trial for a new stem-cell therapy drug targeting stroke, initiated by Jiuzhitang Maker, has been officially approved. Currently, we are collaborating with Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Affiliated to Capital Medical University, to conduct a Phase I/IIa clinical trial evaluating ischemic tolerance–allogeneic human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (it-hMSC) for the treatment of ischemic stroke.

In the future, Jiuzhitang Maker will simultaneously advance both major and rare disease pipelines, focusing on therapeutic areas where mesenchymal stem cells and neural stem cells hold promise—such as neurological and respiratory disorders. This strategic approach will help expand our future market potential, accelerate drug development and bring innovative treatments to patients more swiftly.
