In 2019, Meiko turned two years old. Throughout the year, Meiko stayed true to its original mission, tackled challenges head-on, and pressed forward with steady, hands-on efforts—yielding remarkable achievements. Notably, the company’s first clinical trial for a new stem-cell drug was accepted, it earned certification as a high-tech enterprise, and construction of its Daxing production facility was successfully completed and fully operational.

Jiuzhitang's participation in a merger and acquisition fund investing in the stem-cell field has achieved new progress—its subsidiary, Yonghe Qihang Fund, has invested in the U.S.-based company Stemedica, which recently announced promising results from its stroke research.
