Jiuzhitang Maker's latest stem-cell drug has received IND approval for clinical trials!
On June 9, 2023, Jiuzhitang Maker (Beijing) Cell Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiuzhitang Maker") received implicit approval from the National Medical Products Administration for its Investigational New Drug (IND) application—specifically, for the "Human Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell Injection"—for clinical trials targeting autoimmune alveolar proteinosis (aPAP). This marks the first-ever IND submission in China exploring stem cell therapy for aPAP, offering promising new hope for patients suffering from this debilitating condition.
