Jiuzhitang Maker signed cooperation agreements with Novastem from Mexico and ALTACO from Kazakhstan

In September 2018, Jiuzhitang Maker (Beijing) Cell Technology Co., Ltd. signed cooperation agreements with Mexican company Novastem and Kazakhstan company ALTACO respectively, in an effort to co-build internationalized stem cell research platforms. Novastem has been working with Stemedica for many years, and has developed into Mexico’s leading stem cell clinical research and treatment center. Clinica Santa Clarita (CSC) owned by Novastem is located in Tijuana, a Mexican city adjacent to San Diego, California. CSC is Mexican GCP and Global Healthcare Accreditation (GHA) certified, and holds permits for practicing regenerative medicine and transplanting stem cells. CSC offers a set of international healthcare services including stem cells treatment. With approval granted by COFEPRIS, Mexico’s equivalent of US FDA, CSC will launch clinical trials using stem cells for the treatment of osteoarthritis, fragile syndrome and diabetes.
