Guangzhou First People's Hospital Nansha Branch (Guangzhou Nansha Central Hospital)

Located in Guangzhou's Nansha New Area—the geometric center of the Greater Bay Area—Guangzhou Nansha Central Hospital was jointly invested in and constructed by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government and the Nansha District People's Government, adhering to the standards for a Grade III Class A public hospital. The First People's Hospital of Guangzhou has also provided comprehensive management support, leveraging the expertise and resources of the entire hospital. The hospital successfully opened on July 15, 2008.

The hospital has established clinical specialties required by a Grade III hospital and serves as the base for the Nansha 120 Emergency Rescue Center. It has set up the "Stroke 120 Center" and the "Chest Pain Center," offering advanced trauma care for complex injuries involving the brain, orthopedics, and abdomen, as well as early diagnosis and treatment of digestive system tumors and emergency management of acute gastrointestinal bleeding. Additionally, the hospital provides interventional treatments for vascular conditions such as tumors and myocardial infarction, along with cutting-edge clinical services like intravenous thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke and other cerebrovascular emergencies. To further enhance patient care, the hospital has created 36 specialized disease-specific centers, including a Gastrointestinal Endoscopy & Early Cancer Detection Center, a Trauma Care and Rehabilitation Center, an Interventional Surgery Center, a Brain Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center, and a Medical Imaging & Interventional Diagnostics Center. Moreover, the hospital has launched a dedicated vehicle service for transferring patients within the Nansha Medical Consortium and has been designated as a Guangzhou city-level hospital for free prenatal screening. It also actively participates in the rescue and treatment of critically ill pregnant women and severe pediatric cases in the Nansha District.
